David Campbell Soccer Holidays offer a dream destination for anyone interested in football - or just having fun. If you're aged 7-adult, we offer a soccer holiday of a lifetime at the prestigious ‘Chancellors Hotel & Conference Centre’, Manchester (VIP venue for the Commonwealth Games). Featured on ITV's ‘Wish You Were Here’, the soccer holiday offers a week of on-site activities for children attending either on their own, with a friend or with family. If it’s your birthday during the soccer holiday week, you could play host at your own soccer party. We’ve even had celebrities taking part including Roy Keane and Phillip Neville of Manchester United.
Celebrity appearances should not be expected as part of the soccer holiday.
Visit Your Favourite Club
On David Campbell Soccer Holidays, we take you on a thrilling tour of the famous Premier League ground at Old Trafford - home to Manchester United. You'll get the chance to sit in the dressing room used by United's top stars, see where the players sign their contracts for millions of pounds, and even experience what it's like to run down the famous tunnel and hear the roar of the crowd. Whilst sitting in the seat that was used by David Beckham, Roy Keane and their team, you’ll take part in a team talk given by an ex-Premier League football star acting as the Manager. You can now imagine what it feels like to be part of the Manchester United team!
For fans of Manchester United, this is a dream come true.
Family Fun
Everyone's welcome on David Campbell Soccer Holidays, whether you're a child coming on your own, or a family group. For unaccompanied young people, it's a wonderful opportunity to experience a little independence and meet new friends. Parents can feel reassured that all the activities are on site (excluding the club tour) and there are responsible and caring staff available 24 hours.
Adults taking part in the soccer holiday can join in on a fun-based coaching course for mums and dads or 'do your own thing' during the day. For mums, there's usually a ladies shopping trip and we can even arrange a day at a local leisure club for some pampering.
Specialist Soccer Holiday for Deaf Children
The David Campbell organisation has always encouraged youngsters with disabilities. One of the particular areas in which we have extensive experience is with hearing impaired children. 'Hear The Cheer' is a special coaching programme for deaf children. Many of our staff have taken part in deaf awareness training and BSL level 1 sign language. They will be able to communicate with children who use sign language and understand the needs of all hearing impaired youngsters.
Accommodation
Our accommodation is first class with quality sporting facilities on site. Most rooms are single or twin with en-suite facilities. Adjoining rooms and those with disabled access by request. An excellent standard of food is served and special dietary needs catered for. There is 24 hour security surveillance.
